Eid Timing
Eid ul-Fitr is Wednesday, 10 April.
Takbir 8:30 am
Prayer 9:00 am
May Allah accept our prayers, our fasts, our duas, and our good actions. May He bless us with His limitless mercy and forgiveness.
Please remember to pay Zakat al-Fitr (estimated at $18 per person) before the Eid Prayer. As we previously mentioned, the Fitr donations will be sent to Muslim Aid USA. Muslim Aid USA will be utilizing 100% your Fitr donations for Palestine food aid. You may donate directly to Muslim Air USA.
Eid Salah Timings
There will be one Eid Salah
Takbir starts at: 8:30 am
Eid Salah at 9:00 am
Breakfast will be served after. ICLP is providing coffee and donuts. Please feel free to bring simple breakfast type food and drinks to share.
Please be mindful of the following issues:
Arrive promptly, try to carpool if possible, and follow traffic/parking instructions.
Please make Wudu prior to arrival and minimize use of the restrooms.
Tend to children at all times and minimize the noise level during Salah times.
Because we anticipate a large crowd, we will utilize the space differently. The lower level will be overflow primarily for the sisters. The carpet runners will be setup in the basement level for prayer and video will be streamed to the basement TV.
Please follow the instructions provided by volunteers.
Please do not park in the adjacent parking lot at the MedStar building. Your car will be towed at your expense. You may park in the larger lot where Dick’s Sporting Goods is located.
