Assalamu alaikum,
The first day of reopening the Masjid went well, Alhamdulillah. Yes, the board of directors went through the process of installing new carpet in the Masjid. Alhamdulillah it is an amazing update to the Masjid. Social distancing is being practiced in the Masjid along with everyone wearing mask.
